Water transfer
printing is the only coating technique to coat
complexly shaped objects almost seamlessly with a decor. It is possible to use
this highly efficient printing technique with nearly every object that can be
painted with varnish.
The term chrome plating describes a chemical
process to metalize all kinds of surfaces. Nearly every surface that can be
painted with lacquer qualifies to be used for this special painting technique.
For your convenience and in order to protect the rather thin silver coating from
damage and oxidation, we finalize the process subsequently with several layers
of clear varnish.

The gold
is melted in a vacuum between glass plates in a special process. Since the edges
are closed, there is no way that weathering of the gold can occur. An adhesive
specially designed for the purpose enables the tile to be installed even
underwater (e.g. swimming pools, whirl pools etc.). For every other surface (in
the bathroom or living area) a special flex tile adhesive
- can be used.
The
standard format of gold-glass
tiles is around 45 x 45 mm with a pure gold platinum mixture. Various
formats up to 150 x 150 mm are possible. These mosaics can be produced
not only in linear planes but also in curves. |
